Dr. Tikoo is Minimal Invasive Spine Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. He has more than 12 years of experience in Spine Surgery.

He is trained from best Spine centers both in India as well as abroad. Dr. Agnivesh Tikoo had the opportunity of learning Advanced Spine Surgery procedures during IASA spine fellowship from University hospital of Wales and Llandough in Cardiff, Wales, UK. He has learned the Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery from Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital in London, UK. During his AOSpine International Fellowship, he had learned Paediatric Spine Deformity surgery from Evelina Children’s Hospital, London UK. Dr. Tikoo has contributed significantly to research. He has 20 publications to his credit. He has presented his work at many national and international conferences.

He is a faculty at regional, national and international level conferences. He has received many awards including best paper award at WBISSPCON in 2011. He has also received the K S Grewat Best Paper Award.

He has also written various chapters in Orthopaedic and Spine books. His multifaceted training in Spine Surgery has enabled him to use the latest technology/ techniques like neuronavigation, minimal invasive spine surgery, neuromonitoring and spine robotics to add perfection to his spine skills and improve the patient outcomes equivalent to any international centre of excellence

Dr. Tikoo is executive member of Bombay Spine Society. He is on editorial board of ‘Physis’. He is also a reviewer of Indian Spine Journal and has been webmaster to Bombay Orthopaedic Society in the past.

He has successfully organized many educational spine teaching courses and Spine conferences.
